MOD

Since it was quite a narrow track which made it difficult for passing (especially considering the speed of the cars in this category), some XRAY pilots like Martini and Menicucci – even if they were the fastest ones – were penalized on overpassing and so slowed down the performance. At the end of the three rounds the classification:

1. Fabiani Massimo
2. Sala Federico
3. Menicucci Alessio XRAY T2'009
4. Martini Francesco XRAY T2'009
5. Romagnoli Michele XRAY T2'009

FINALS

During the finals the sun came out strongly, forcing drivers to scramble to change their set-ups. XRAY dominated in all three categories and conquered the entire podium within the Sport category.

SUPERSPORT

In the first final Brunelli left the pole right away from the horn, but the very fast Fabiani followed him closely without really being able to seriously attack him. The second final saw a continuous change of the lead positions, with Brunelli making errors which forced him into a 4th place finish. Magnocavallo (after overpassing problems in the first rounds) was able to make it up to 2nd place and be within a few tenths of a second from the lead driver. In the third final Brunelli was able to acquire a lead of a few meters in the first corners and then controlled the race for the remaining time until the end. A technical problem stopped Magnocavallo at the first corner and thus prevented him from taking a podium finish.

MOD

It was a beautiful showing, with big bustle but also lots of luck. Menicucci drove the first final right behind Martini, Sala and Fabiani in a fight that turned to Sala’s favour after a hard overpass in the last corner had Fabiani harming Martini which forced Francesco into 4th place and disqualified Fabiani.
In the second final Menicucci was able to avoid the first corner pileup (which involved many cars and put Romagnoli and Martini at the back.

Menicucci won the second final and also took the overall win. Martini was slower because of the continuous overpassing he did.

The start of the third final again penalized XRAY drivers, among them Martini who was quite fast and was able to climb from 10th place to 4th place.
